Beginning its journey in 1974, Ralson has been one of the fastest-growing tire companies in India. During last 50 years they have grown to become India’s largest producer of bicycle tyres with a global presence in over 70 countries. In 2022 they started manufacturing truck tyres in a newly set up plant in heart of India, Indore city, India. They started with annual capacity of 1mn tyres and have big expansion plans.
During last 1 year they have opened new markets across the world, the biggest ones being US, South America, Europe and Middle east.
Besides the business activities, the group is very committed to social and environmental causes.
Environmental Stewardship
Environmental protection and sustainability were key objectives when the Ralson plant was designed and constructed.
- Thousands of tree saplings were planted in and around the premises.
- All effluents are recycled.
- Rainwater is harvested, making the most out of Indian monsoons and steam; thereby reducing water consumption needs.
- A commitment to creating low rolling resistance tires reduces the carbon footprint.
- Durable, sturdy casings facilitate more retreading, resulting in less tire carcasses in landfills.
